After the tactical tuesday game tonight, if the mod works well then I will release the update to all that offered to be part of our beta test, once this has been done for a few days we will make a general release, probably before the weekend, well that;s my hope...
The new changes in 1.2 are...
1. Sighted team name, this will show the name of a team member when you are sighted on them. This is to help identify your team mebers and help avoid teamkills when tag is not shown or hidden. 2. Team member name on chat, thanks to Burning cross for help with this. 3. Escalation parameters for the progressive run limiter. Upto 10 escalation levels each with its own set of punish and wait times. Punish is now availalbe to suicide, kick or even ban a player (if you want to be that dramatic LOL), this includes different warning messages for each level so you can notify players they are about to be punished more. Or not... 4. Friendly fire claymores, There are 2 new options, one will enable friendly claymores, and another option will allow you to show friendly claymores to the same team. This appears like bomb squad and works very well, if you trip a friendly claymore it is treated like a suicide. 5. Jump limited, you can now specify a min and max height to start damage to the max that is death. 6. Ability to specifically identify each type of weapon class for the hip shot punishment, so you can discriminate between rifle, pistol, sub machine gun, etc 7. Escalation for Hip shot, this works like the run escalation and you can define upto 10 levels with punish options for shell shock, suicide, freeze, kick and Ban (Dramatic I know). Each level can have a range of times to activate it.
Various Bug fixes. - Blackscreen now fills all screen, even on large and wide monitors. - Progressive run limited was messing up on spawn based upon other global settings.
These new options will all be active tonight in the tactical tuesday match.

I like the black screen. However, is there a way to choose not have it on specific gametypes? For example, S&D we play with no respawn. Part of the fun is watching your remaining team try to set/defuse. Others, however, might play with respawn so it would be great if there were an option to specify the black screen for each gametype. Just my opinion/suggestion. Thank you!

Actually that's an interesting point, we had S7D on our server for the first time in a long time and I agree that does make it a little boring. To this eend I have added some new options to the lool mod config options...
These are...
set awe_BlackSpawnScreenDM 1 // black Screen on free for all deathmatch set awe_BlackSpawnScreenDOM 1 // black Screen on domination set awe_BlackSpawnScreenKOTH 1 // black Screen on headquarters set awe_BlackSpawnScreenSAB 1 // black Screen on sabotage set awe_BlackSpawnScreenSD 1 // black Screen on search & destroy set awe_BlackSpawnScreenWAR 1 // black Screen on team deathmatch set awe_BlackSpawnScreenCTF 1 // black Screen on capture the flag set awe_BlackSpawnScreenCTFB 1 // black Screen on capture the flag (back) set awe_BlackSpawnScreenHTF 1 // black Screen on hold the flag
This will allow you to switch the black screen on or off depending upon the game type...
