Hi there. It's nice to be here with so many like-minded folk. I look forward to exploring all your servers and getting to know you. A thought came to me when I looked at the main page with all the banners for the servers. Some of them just have names, others are called Tactical, ours at livefromny are called 'stealth hunt, no run and gun, and so on and so on. Do you think we could all agree on a standard naming convention? For example, SH-NRNG for stealth hunt no run and gun, or T-NRNG for tactical, or maybe we can each call it what we like, such as snipers only, or teams or whatever and just end the site name with NRNG? What I had as a thought was if all of us are using the same naming convention to designate our servers as No Run and Gun, then maybe it will catch on and people will begin to get the idea. Just like a company does branding. Plus, I really just thought it would be cool to see all our sites lined up on the banners with NRNG in the title, plus it's short enough to fit . Just one more think linking us all together in the community. Anyways, like I said, it's only a thought, but glad to be here and hope to meet you on your servers soon!

I really like the idea..
Also depending where you would place the NoRnG, if you place it in front all the server with this "branding as you call" will come out one after the other on the list of Call of Duty..

Yes. That's a great thought too. I also like how you specified it as "NoRnG" and suggest that be the format we use at the front.
NoRnG - Your site NoRnG - LiveFromNY.net (London) NoRnG - Someone else's site NoRnG - The site NoRnG - The other site
Anyone else like?

I think this is a great idea...When new players are browsing on the list of servers, I think it would look very impressive to come across a large block of servers linked by our affiliation with NoRNG ....Also, Once people get familiar with what it stands for, It will help seperate us from the pack of run and gunners....An added bonus is, It might even help keep the runners and idiots from bothering to invade our servers....(once they are kicked from one server with the tag, they will know it's the same deal with all NoRNG servers)...............Just my 2 cents........

cool guys. Good Thinking. Keep up the ideas, but be sure not to jump the gun on making any changes until everyone is on the same page.

Just a quick note guys! If you add too many colors to the NRNG and your server name, you will not see all of the name in the server listings. Each color code takes the place of a digit in the name, so for ^1N = 3 spaces. Crash

I agree Starz, Maybe a meeting of the Brain trust could decide on this issue. And Let me add this: I do not speak for madman-vip...Like I said, This was just my 2 cents...Any final decision will come from The Madman himself........but its definitely a good idea worth tossing around......

Thanks Crash for pointing that out. I've corrected and shortened the name as ours was really too long to begin with anyway. They now read:
"No^1R^7n^1G LFNY (London)" "No^1R^7n^1G LFNY (New York)"
